What do you like to listen to while you crochet or complete other tasks. It certainly makes housework a lot more enjoyable when you have something interesting to listen to.

ReplyDeleteYour blankets are gorgeous! I, too, watch Netflix while sewing. I love the message in some and exploring how history is rewritten for entertainment purposes. The one thing I don't like is how they throw sex into the equation. So it's nice to be sewing and I can just focus on my project if a scene comes up that I don't want to see. I don't have children in my home so I don't have to stop and fast forward...I just tune it out. Right now I'm watching "Reign" (I'm Scottish-Irish-French-American...a bit of a mutt...lol), Sense8, Once Upon A Time and Supervet. Thanks for sharing. It's nice to get to know you. <3
If you like Gilmore Girls, Bunheads is good, only lasted a season or two but starred Sutton Foster as a vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man and moves to his small home town, where she ends up teaching dance classes with her mother in law (Emily Gilmore).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite show at present is Playing House. You might find episodes on YouTube. It's about a woman who has an international job (of some sort) but gives it up to come back to her home town and help out her friend, who is pregnant, but has just thrown her husband out. But really, it is so so funny. The fast talking of Gilmore girls, somewhat like I love lucy, Lucy and Ethel, and great writing. It might take a few episodes to get into it, (my husband found the women too annoying), but you might find yourself wishing you knew the people in this show, it's really all about friendship.
