Star Wars is a big thing in this household at the moment. My son is obsessed and that's to put it mildly. Star Wars movies, games, books and toys are taking over. It's like Frozen all over again.
When he asked me to make him a BB-8 I couldn't say no. So we looked for a pattern together on Pinterest. He picked out this one from
Casey Barnes on Ravelry.
It's definitely not a pattern for beginners but if you have had experience with softies and working in the round then you should be able to work out the increases. Note: on the head, in the pattern, it only has one round of white after the grey but in the photo's of the pattern BB-8 it shows two.
All in all it was a good pattern and my son is happy with the result. It is a bit fiddly with all the colour changes but I found once I got in to it, it was completed within a few hours.
