Hi there, these instructions might help you. Each dark square is a bobble. Each white square is a sc or hdc depending on what you prefer to use. http://www.knotyournanascrochet.com/2012/01/5-petal-flower.html
You can find instructions on how to work a bobble here http://crochet.lifetips.com/cat/58302/advanced-stitches/index.html. Bobbles are worked on wrong side rows to allow them to pop out the right side.
Thank you for sharing. I like to crochet a bobble decorated baby blanket, spelling out the full, formal name of the baby, and then filling a square between the names with a heart. I have added a row of hearts at the top and bottom to make the blanket crib size, but these designs give me more options. I crocheted a tiny one for my grandson's cradle too since daughter did not have any blankets small enough for the cradle or stroller.
I, too, would like to know how to "design" a name and center it on the blanket. I know people graph them or use excel, but no one explains exactly how and where to place the letters. I am lost as where to start. Any advice?
This is great. Can you create a tutorial on how to make your own graphs? I’m working on an idea but I have no idea where to start with making the graph. :/ Thank you!!
Cool, I am going to try one :)
