Granny Square CAL (Week 6)

Yay for week 6, you should have 2 rows of your blanket done after this if you are making a queen size following this chart. If you want to start joining them please see this post linking to a few joining techniques. You can also see week 1 for the links to each week if you would like to join in and catch up with us.

I use a 5.00mm hook for all my squares with DK yarn.

16th Granny Square

To make this square 8 inches I added 2 rounds of dc and omitted the sc round. I also couldn't get the picot border to look 'right' for me. But feel free to add it to yours.

  2. I've having problems with the last granny square (#18). Where am I working in my flower? I made my base, but can't figure out how to dc the beginning loops of the flower. Help?

    1. Hi there,

I struggled with this a little as well, so basically if you look at the first picture on page 3 you will be able to see where she put her dc (US sc). You are just sc around the corners then chaining and joining to the next sc with a sl st. I hope this helps.
