Now if I am being honest I have been living under a rock and had no idea what wax tarts are. So of course I googled it and they sound wonderful. I found this video for all those like me that had no idea what they were.
Now to get onto the fun part. This weeks squares. I hope everyone is doing okay with them. If your not feel free to ask for help in the group or substitute for a different square. It won't get you an entry into the draw but it will get your blanket finished and that is the main point of this crochet along.
If you need more information about this CAL please see this post which will help you.
10th Granny Square
I used DK/light worsted weight and a 5.00 mm hook. The square following the pattern came out 6 1/2 inches. I needed to do one more row to achieve a 8 inch square but you may need to do two if you are a tight crocheter.
Round 7: Join yarn in any corner sp, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into corner sp, ch 1, skip 3 st, 3 dc into space between 3th and 4th st, ch 1, skip 4 st, 3 dc into space between 7th and 8th st, ch 1, skip 3, 3 dc in ch 1 sp, ch 1, skip 3, 3 dc between 13th and 14th st, ch 1, skip 4, 3 dc between 18th and 19th st, ch 1* Repeat between * 3 more times. Join to first dc with a sl st.
Finish off and weave in all ends.
11th Granny Square
I added two more rounds in the granny square pattern which you should be used to by now :)

A quick note: The pattern says on round 1 to do 6 bobble stitches but the photo clearly shows 8 so I decided to do 8 to try and get it to lay flat. The next round will also be 8 bobbles.
I did 3 more rounds in the granny pattern to get 8 inches.
