Cracked Egg Chick Hat

Okay so I know this isn't a free pattern but I wanted to share with all my followers what I have been working on. The Cracked Egg Chick Hat. I love this hat. With Easter coming up I was seeing a lot of hats designed to look like a chick was cracking out of an egg but all of them only had the bottom/top of the shell, not both. So it gave me this idea. I hope you like it :)

Taking a break to work on farm blanket

Since it is so close to Christmas I have decided to take a break from my crochet business and writing free patterns. I am currently taking time to focus on my farm blanket. For those that have no idea what I am talking about I am making a cot sized blanket to enter into the farm show here and writing out the patterns as I go. It is not until February but there is a lot of work to go into it. Here are some pictures to show you the progress.
