Lego Scarf

My sister is visiting from Australia and while she was here she made this fun Lego scarf for her son. I loved it so much I wanted to share it with you.

She can't read patterns so there is no pattern for this scarf as such but I can tell you how she made it.

This Lego scarf is a great beginners project, it uses all the basic crochet stitches and incorporates bobbles which give it texture.

Step 1: Crochet your Lego blocks, she used this YouTube tutorial. The length you want your scarf will determine how many blocks you make.

Step 2: She joined the blocks by single crocheting the long side of the blocks together so that there is a ridge along the top. You can find a tutorial for this here.

Step 3: For the border she did a round of single crochet around the whole scarf and then a round of double crochet.

Step 4: Now all that's left to do is add a fringe to each end of the scarf.

Pretty simple right.
