To make this an 8 inch square:
Round 7: Join yarn in corner stitch. 5 dc in each corner, dc in each stitch across sides.
Round 8: Join yarn in any corner. Ch 1, 5 sc into the corner, sc in each st across.
Round 9: Join yarn in corner stitch. 5 dc in each corner, dc in each stitch across sides.
